Nursing Faculty More Than Teachers for Students

The nursing program at Dalton State demands dedication and hard work. The program is known for its rigor.

During the challenging labs and clinicals - which put a student's mental and emotional being to the test - bonds form. Support and encouragement is found.

The nursing pinning ceremony is a time to celebrate those students who will soon become nurses. But it's also a time for the students to say "thank you" to everyone who has helped them accomplish their goal. Many students, turn not only to their families and friends, but to the nursing professors.

In an emotional rose ceremony, students give a small token of appreciation to those who have given them so much during their two years of nursing school. And it's no surprise that the faculty and staff receive warm hugs and roses.

The faculty and staff at Dalton State don't just teach.

They mentor.

Go light your world, nurses. We have faith in you.
